For this session of iMovie workshop, teachers are divided into two class-basic and advanced. Both group will learn a different iMovie skill set within 2-hours time.
In the advanced class, we introduced the green screen effect to the teachers, and... it was a hit!
We always see Hollywood movies' behind-the-scene footages, or the-making-of videos, and one element that always appear is the green or blue screen. The green or blue screen effect allows us to put a character on another live or animated video scene. Think about your evening news weather report or maybe Avatar, you'd believe they're running around in an enchanted forest when in reality, the actors are acting with only green screens! Talk about professionalism right.
So, the equipments are pretty basic. You just need to have: florescent green coloured paper (from neighborhood stationary shop; RM 3.30 per piece) and iMovie on the Mac. Wa-lah!
